Christ Smiles Dental Mission - Our Mission:
In the Name of Jesus Christ, we go as volunteers to serve those who are in greatest need where Christ leads us. The love of God we know in Christ compels us to share that love with our neighbors.
We pray that all we say and do in this clinic will:
What makes the Christ Smiles Dental Mission unique is the combination of talent, resources, love, fellowship and compassion of the members of the team, providing a useful service while communicating the message of Jesus Christ.
Christ Smiles Dental Mission is built on the base of 27 years of continuous success as the Peace Lutheran Church Dental Mission.
All of Christ Smiles Dental Mission Volunteers agree to a high standard of moral and ethical behavior while on mission as well as the highest professional standards in clinic.
Christ Smiles Dental Mission - Our Goals:
The Word of God and the love of Jesus is central to each member of the team as we prepare ourselves for mission. We spread the Gospel through our actions and in a more literal sense by distributing Bibles to those who visit our clinic. With our hearts grounded in the love of Jesus, our mission goal is to provide dental services to those who are least able to obtain dental care. In many rural areas dental care is very limited and where it is available any cost is prohibits many from attaining care.
Our goals have both long lasting and immediate results.
Our first goal is to equip our patients with information and hands on training in basic dental hygiene and to provide them with the basics to continue after leaving our clinic. Results of this part of our mission are that children often go and teach their parents and parents teach their children about basic tooth and gum care and whole families and communities become better equipped for long term dental health. When possible we also go to local schools to teach dental hygiene and distribute dental care kits for the children and their families.
Our immediate goal is to relieve oral pain that for many has been a chronic condition for years. Often extraction is the only possible solution for long term relief especially in many of our older patients. If a hurting tooth is viable our team will make every effort, within the limits of our facilities, to save that tooth and restore it to full use.

We pray that all we say and do in this clinic will:
- Point you to God's love
- Call you to accept by faith God's free grace in the cross of Christ
- Fill you with His Spirit to love others
